Original diagnose after Siverson (1993) p. 8 [2213]: Axial foramina separated or fused. Apron very elongated and narrow, particularly in juveniles. Mesial expansion of basal edge of root well developed reaching apex of apron. Lingual side of mesial expansion of basal edge of root generally meeting root protuberance almost at right angle. Basal edge of root nearly straight.
