Description
Original diagnosis after Siversson, Cederström & Ryan, 2022 [31080]: Small-sized, stocky anterior teeth with relatively wide, triangular cusp. One or two pairs of erect and acute cusplets; when present, outer pair minute. In labial/lingual views, cusp strongly distally directed in upper lateroposterior teeth; erect to moderately distally inclined in corresponding lower jaw teeth. In profile view, labial side of cusp straight or slightly labially curved in upper lateroposterior teeth; straight to slightly lingually curved in lower jaw teeth. Lateral cusplets asymmetrical in lateroposterior teeth with broad base; inner edge shorter than outer edge. Cusplets generally smaller in lower lateroposterior teeth than in corresponding upper jaw teeth. Additional minute cusplet may be present on one or both sides of crown. Root near symmetrical regardless of tooth file; thick in anterior teeth and labiolingually compressed in lateroposterior teeth. Lobes of root short and angular to rounded in lateroposterior teeth; basal edge might be scalloped in central part in more anteriorly situated teeth. Basal edges of lobes of root form wide V-shape in labial/lingual views in posteriorly situated upper jaw teeth. Root symmetrical in basal view in upper and lower lateroposterior teeth; lingual protuberance well demarcated. Median groove variably developed. Rearmost teeth of large relative size; comparable in mesiodistal width to anterior teeth.
