		Description
Original diagnosis after Herman et al. (1989) p. 176 [1132]: A mobulaform known from isolated teeth only. The teeth have a similarity with the female characters of those of Mobula. The broad, massive crown has a subquadrate profile. Externally the crown is convex with a deep basal depression and leans strongly forward over the root. The blunt cutting edge tends to form a median cusp. The root is low, basally flat and subpolyaulacorhize. Most of the parallel intermedian grooves are closed, leaving several basal foramina and apertures. Foramina are abundant on both inner and outer faces.
