Description
Original diagnose after Case (1978) p. 193 [388]: A batoid tooth of small size, ranging between 0.25 mm to 1 mm in length, and 0.75 mm in height, rhombodic to hexagonal structure in its occlusal aspect, with a lingual protuberance (on the anterior and posterior teeth) on the apron of the crown, overhanging the root, with a basal aspect similar to that of hypolophids: a medial furrow centered on the basal aspect (cf. Text-fig. 15), running transversely in lateral teeth, obliquely in postero-lateral teeth, with a central foramen in the furrow- between the lobes.
